We have several summer internships available at our Sarasota office. This is a great opportunity to be exposed to the web development, graphic design and marketing industry. Interns will start out with small, introductory tasks. If you prove yourself, you will continue to get bigger and better jobs. It’s all what you want to make of it. School credit is available and encouraged. Scheduling is very flexible.
Web Developer Internship
The Web Developer’s role at Glide Interactive is multifaceted. As a Web Developer intern, you are passionate, talented, and creative. This individual will apply proven technical skills, communication skills, and knowledge of best practices to successfully help implement websites and web applications.
Requirements:
Experience with PHP or Ruby on Rails, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, XHTML, CSS
Responsibilities:
Updating websites, adding content to websites, adding features to websites, and testing websites

Experience with SEO, Web 2.0, Organic Search, Viral Marketing, Social Networking, press releases, Blogging and B2B/B2C Marketing, Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing and Microsoft Ad Center PPC programs

Updating social media website, blogging, content writing and research.
